Install Apps and Packages in Your Trailhead Playground

Install the Dreamhouse app package:

Steps:

  • On the trailhead learning page, click "Launch" to open the Trailhead Playground.
  • At the top right corner of the playground, click the gear symbol and select the Setup option.
  • A new page appears having Home and Object Manager Tabs.
  • In the Home-Quick find box, search for "Users"
  • Tick mark the box beside your name in the user's list
  • Now select the Reset password option. A pop-up appears, select OK
  • Check your mail. Click on the link, to reset the password of that playground
  • Provide a new password and click the "Change Password" option. It automatically opens the setup page.
  • Now, go back to the Trailhead page and right-click the Package Installation Link, and select the open link in the new tab.
  • A login page appears. Now, give the login credentials of the playground username(available at the user's list in setup) and password (which was recently updated).
  • Click "Remind Me Later" for the phone number to skip it now.
  • Now three options will appear (Install for admins only, Install for all users, Install for specific profiles). In that, select "Install for admins only" and click Install.
  • Click done after installation completes.
  • Now you will be redirected to the setup page showing Installed packages. Here you can find the Dreamhouse package installed in the playground.
  • Now go back to the Trailhead learning page and click "Check challenge"
  • You will get a shiny new badge on your profile.
